The Dovid Oved Retreat Center was born out of a vision to build a kosher retreat center for the West Coast Jewish Community and a permanent home for Moshava Alevy during the summer. Synagogues, schools, and other Jewish institutions from across the West Coast utilize these facilities throughout the year for educational retreats and social programming – a center to strengthen community and foster friendships.

Our doors are also open for all kinds of family occasions and private functions. We maintain RCC Kashrut and an LA Eruv-approved Eruv.

The Dovid Oved Retreat Center operates as a not-for-profit organization. We thrive thanks to generous support from the community, ensuring that this beautiful site remains a well-maintained community asset for generations to come.
